Vegetarian……Vegan……Macrobiotic…… What are they and what do they really mean???….
Vegetarian: Veganism is more a moral belief than just a diet. No animal products are used on a vegan diet, no diary, no eggs, not even honey since it is made from bees. Vegans are advocates for animal rights. Macrobiotics is not a diet. It is a philosophy based on the principles of yin and yang. A philosophy thousands of years old describing the order of the universe. The concept of macrobiotics provides the tools to live a harmonias and balanced life. One of these tools is food. Therefore; the macrobiotic lifestyle uses food, among other practices, as a tool to arrive to equilibrium, which will allow the body to have good health, vitality, and longevity. The latter is the reason why we want to eat a balanced and healthy diet. A balanced diet that provides energy and nutrition is a diet that includes only what the body needs, not what you want to eat. So, how do you know you are getting exactly what you need and not what your subconscious wants??? Listen to your instincts. Unfortunately this is much easier said than done. Today, we live our lifestyles far from nature. Our bodies are clouded with toxins and excess. There are large amounts of artificial light and sound. Most people don’t even know if there is a full moon or a new moon. You may ask what does this have to do with listening to your instincts. Well, with all this distraction inside and outside the body, it prevents us from listening to our instincts; therefore, we have no idea what our bodies and mind really need. So……we need to rid our bodies and mind first of all the unnecessary excess. The first step to eliminating the body from all the blockages it has is by eating a diet based on organic whole grains, beans, locally grown vegetables and some fruits. A simple, clean diet will allow the body not only from accumulating more blockages and toxins, but also provide the body with the tools that it needs to support elimination. You are what you eat, and what you don’t eliminate.
DO NOT HESITATE; BEGIN NOW YOUR PATH TO A HEALTHY AND BALANCED LIFE.
